Christopher Neff joined Moskowitz & Book, LLP following a two-year clerkship for the Honorable Deborah A. Batts, United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York. Prior to his clerkship with Judge Batts, Christopher clerked at a criminal-defense boutique in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Christopher is a 2009 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, where he received the Nicholas deB. Katzenbach Civil Rights Scholar academic merit scholarship, was named a Hugo Black Scholar, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Christopher was a founding member of the Alabama Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law Review. He served as senior editor and co-chair for symposia on the Journal of the Legal Profession, which published his student note, Those Cunning Spiders, the Lawyers. He received his BA from Sarah Lawrence College in 1999.
The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy named Christopher a Next Generation Leader in 2008. He is a member of the National Lawyers’ Guild, the Federal Bar Council, and the bar associations of New York State and New York City. Christopher is involved in the firm’s civil and criminal practice.
